PPRA DIRECTOR GENERAL URGES STAFF TO UPHOLD INTEGRITY AND PATRIOTISM
The Director General of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Mr. Dennis Simba, has called upon the Authority’s staff to continue upholding patriotism and integrity in the execution of their daily responsibilities.
He made these remarks recently during a staff meeting held at the PPRA Headquarters, Ununuzi House, in Dodoma.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Simba emphasized that integrity is the cornerstone of the public procurement system, and that PPRA staff must serve as role models in managing public resources with professionalism and accountability.
“Integrity is a fundamental pillar of public procurement. As custodians of this system in the country, we must remain patriotic and ethical, work diligently, and strengthen teamwork. Through these efforts, we will continue to ensure value for money in public procurement,” said Mr. Simba.
On his part, the Chairperson of the PPRA Workers’ Union, Mr. Fanuel Yengayenga, commended the Board and Management for their strong leadership, and encouraged staff to continue enhancing their performance.
He also urged the Authority to continue building staff capacity, enabling them to effectively carry out their duties.
Heads of Departments, Units, and Zonal Office Managers of the Authority also addressed the staff, calling upon them to uphold accountability, teamwork, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
